Welcome, opening remarks, and introductions Dr. Wayne Young, Chair, opened the meeting. There was no quorum present. Dr. Young reviewed the purpose and charge of the committee. Approval of minutes for July 27, 2018, and January 11, 2019, meetings A vote to approve minutes cannot be taken due to the absence of a quorum. The Chair asked the group if they have changes to the minutes. Ethics Presentation David Reisman, Chief Ethics Officer at HHSC, gave the presentation which provided an overview of the appropriateness of involvement (for example, voting on certain matters) given individual personal interests or those of a family member for committee members. If members have a question about the appropriateness of your vote or other involvement on a particular interest, please consult Mr. Reisman.
