HHSC: Joint Meeting of the Aging and Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee and Texas Respite Advisory Committee

The Aging and Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee assists in developing and implementing an ADRC program in Texas to include program and policy development, designing and operating ADRCs, and obtaining stakeholder input. The Texas Respite Advisory Committee helps develop strategies to reduce barriers to access respite services, improves the quality of respite services, and provides training, education and support to family caregivers. The Committees met in a joint session on November 4, 2019. Call to order. The meeting was called to order by Cara Magrane, Chair of the ADRCC Advisory Committee. A quorum of both committees was established.
