QIPP Proposed SFY 2025 Quality Metrics and Performance Requirements

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) conducted an online public hearing on December 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. CST, to review and receive public comment on the Quality Incentive Payment Program (QIPP) for nursing facilities proposed state fiscal year (SFY) 2025 quality metrics and associated performance requirements. This hearing is being held in compliance with 1 Tex. Admin. Code § 353.1304. Background. The Quality Incentive Payment Program (QIPP) is a state-directed payment program (DPP) designed to help nursing facilities achieve transformation in care quality through innovation. QIPP was first implemented on September 1, 2017. HHSC proposes the following quality metrics for SFY 2025—the eighth QIPP program year, covering the program period that begins on September 1, 2024, and ends on August 31, 2025.
