The Committee met to discuss the following: Monitor the implementation of legislation addressed by the Senate Committee on Health and Human Services, 85th Legislature and make recommendations for any legislation needed to improve, enhance, and/or complete implementation, including but not limited to: Initiatives to increase capacity and reduce waitlists in the mental health system, including the construction of state hospitals and new community grant programs; The committee met on numerous issues.
