Meeting Summary. The meeting was called to order by the Chair. The minutes from the meeting on April 27, 2018, were approved as written. Elect Chair. Dr. Hogue was re-elected Chair. Bylaws revision. The By-laws were sent out in advance and some suggested changes were offered. MOTION: Approve the by-laws as presented. Old business: Report on Health and Human Services Commission decisions on acceptance of the Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Board recommendations from the April 27, 2018, meeting. The July 2018 Medicaid Preferred Drug List (PDL) has been published. The PDL includes appendices for cough and cold products, iron oral agents, and prenatal vitamins products.

MEETING SUMMARY. 

The Drug Utilization Review Board (link is external) gathered for its quarterly meeting. [The Board] develops and submits recommendations for the preferred drug list, suggests clinical prior authorizations on outpatient prescription drugs, recommends education interventions for Medicaid providers, and reviews drug usage across Medicaid programs. Introduction The meeting was called to order by the Chair, Robert Hogue. The minutes from the meeting on November 3, 2017, were approved with minor edits.
